Pension scheme for cine outdoor unit members in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 31 (PTI) Kerala Cine Outdoor Unit Workers Union will introduce a pension package for its senior members under its 'Samraksha' Workers Welfare Fund, a FEFKA functionary said today.
The scheme would be officially launched tomorrow by state Culture Minister M A Baby, said B Unnikrishnan, General Secretary of Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA).
FEFKA had asked all its 16 affiliated unions to formulate such welfare schemes for their members.
Under the pension scheme, those retiring from the field on completion of 60 years and after a service of 20 years would get Rs 50000 lumpsum amount and Rs 3000 monthly pension.
Unnikrishnan said all the 16 unions would introduce similar schemes before the end of next year, he said.
